Working with the DeShazo Group, traffic circulation at the northern edge of the UTSA campus was studied with respect to function and the conceptual ideas of the campus master plan.  Several alternatives were developed and consensus was that a new modern traffic roundabout would solve traffic issues, create a more ceremonial entrance and allow future development to complement the new master plan.  A new plan was designed that included this roundabout and a new Campus Green and Oval that added a major campus green space and created a better and safer system for bus transit, both for the internal shuttle system and outside public transit connections.  This re-development also created additional buildable area in the section of the campus.
