Giving highest priority to economy, speed, and appropriateness of construction type, the Ceramics and Sculpture Studio provides individual studio space to graduate students in Fine Arts. A pre-engineered building system is adapted to include clerestory windows and polycarbonate panels provide daylight into each studio to create loft like studio spaces for each student. Large shop and meeting areas allow for group teaching and an oversized lobby doubles as a gallery area for student work. Placement of the building accommodates current campus conditions and adapts to the future UTSA master plan.
