The Strand is a one-story neighborhood retail center built on a prominent corner within sight of Interstate 10. The center is an upscale mix of brick, stone and cast stone, with wood and metal canopies that allude to older retail buildings. Special canopies and glass clerestories mark larger lease spaces and provide unique corners for the property. A small courtyard and generous sidewalks allow for outdoor dining, fostering a relaxed sense of community. A 70-foot tower provides as a beacon to drivers along Interstate 10 and a major arterial road. Numerous long-term tenants including restaurants, a neighborhood beer garden and a major shoe retailer underscore the long-term sustainability of this very popular retail center.
