The San Antonio Zoo Parking garage is publicly funded by the 2017-2022 City of San Antonio Bond, and in collaboration with the San Antonio Zoo.
The Parking garage is on Zoo property (a land lease from the City of San Antonio) located off of Tuleta Drive, just north west of the San Antonio Zoo entrance, and adjacent to Alamo Stadium.
The five story precast concrete structure accommodates approximately 600 cars, and is clad with green screen walls. Included in the scope of the project is 1200 linear feet of new pedestrian path along Tuleta Drive, connecting the garage to the existing entry of the zoo. The parking garage helps alleviate parking for some of its neighboring institutions: Alamo Stadium, Brackenridge Park, and the Japanese Tea Gardens.
