The Texas Society of Architects (TxA) Board of Directors has named Mike McGlone, a principal at Alamo Architects and current TxA Vice President for Communications, to be President-Elect of the 2018 TxA Board of Directors. The TxA board guides the organization’s mission to be the Voice for Texas architecture, supporting the creation of safe, beautiful, and sustainable environments.

Upon learning of his appointment, McGlone said, “I’m honored by the board’s decision and excited about the opportunity to serve our profession and represent our state’s Architects.” McGlone’s appointment, along with the other board officers nominations, will be confirmed at the annual TxA Convention and board meeting in San Antonio this November.
