Neiman Marcus

Springboarding from our recent and very positive experience working with Neiman Marcus's design team and their architects at our Shops at La Cantera, Alamo Architects was awarded the architectural design of the new store at the Domain, in affluent north Austin, Texas. Our work on the design of their new building shell was coordinated with the interior efforts of Dallas-based RYA Interiors.

The luxury retailer anchors the north end of The Domain, a new mixed-use development designed by JRPA Architects and developed by Simon Properties Group. It is located at the pinnacle of the site and is surrounded by primary approach roads to the upscale development. The 84,000-square-foot facility addresses the differing views of itself from freeway speed, Main Street, and primary access roads through scale of differing architectural elements, color and massing. The store celebrated a festive grand opening in spring of 2007.
