
The new shelter provides housing for up to 40 women and their families in an attractive campus-like setting. The two-story dormitory includes rooms with flexible floor plans to house single women and families. A variety of support services are housed in the main building. Separate buildings provide the shelter and an adjacent nonprofit family services organization with educational and health services. A separate sub-complex of duplexes provide housing for women making a safe transition from abusive situations to independence.
