A fresh new public face and a thoughtfully placed addition are featured in this addition and renovation of an aging fire facility. New apparatus bays using a pre-manufactured metal building were added in a way to that saved existing trees and eased circulation concerns. Sustainable site design features include a rain cistern that captures roof storm water which is reused to maintain drought tolerant planting and mitigate run off to the aquifer.
