In South Texas, drilling for oil and gas in the massive Eagleford Shale formation has led to an enormous influx of workers and housing demand over recent years. Because of the remote locations of this drilling, on-site construction has a host of atypical limitations. Off-site assembly-line techniques are used to produce re-purposed ISO shipping containers with pre-fabricated component assemblies that can be shipped to the project site from San Antonio.
